Shift Events Gives
We believe that bikes build better communities. That is why we donate a substantial part of our earnings to support community improvement projects that make real differences in people’s lives. We aren’t talking about some nominal percentage, and we don’t ask our participants to go out and fundraise. By simply signing up and showing up for an amazing day on the bike, you are actively helping us create a positive impact in the world.
We are incredibly proud of the impact that our organization has had over the past 36 years and over $4M in donations.
2024 Donations (so far)
We are up to $100K in gifts to nonprofit groups on behalf of the volunteers who help us produce our events. More to come before we round out this incredible season.
If you are aligned with a nonprofit that would be interested in volunteering at any of our events, please get in touch with natalie@teamevergreen.org.

GRANTS
As we evolve Team Evergreen into Shift Events and the Evergreen Ride Club, we remain deeply committed to our core belief that Bikes Build Better Communities. As a 501c3, we are honored that our events afford us the opportunity to create moving experiences for people while also generating positive impacts in the communities where we work, play, and live. As we chart the course for Shift Events, we are actively evaluating how we can best support that ambition going forward, determining where our resources have the greatest impact while also remaining aligned with our mission.
Though we have been able to support in the past through a donation or grant, we are not soliciting or accepting grant applications at this time. We anticipate determining our impact strategy for our giving within the next few months and will announce the giving program in early 2025.
